ANNUAL BACK TO SCHOOL SUPPLIES DRIVE FOR HOLY CROSS, BELIZE IS UNDERWAY!
Any individual, family, or group interested in donating school supplies to be shipped to the school we have adopted in Belize please drop items off at the CCRN Oxford office location or contact Donna M. Williams by calling the office for more information.
Because shipping to Belize and transporting to the island school takes several weeks, we are asking that all donations be collected at CCRN for distribution by August 10, although late donations will be accepted and added to our next shipment to Holy Cross.

TRANSITION TO COLLEGE SUMMER SCHOOL (ESY) PROGRAM:
It’s not too early to begin thinking about summer programming for next summer. Summer 2012 will be here before you know it!
We are pleased to announce our partnership with Lincoln University in presenting you CCRN College-Connect. This program will be offered on-site at Lincoln University to give your student the ultimate experience in college preparation.
You asked for it and you got it! Eleventh grade students transitioning to twelfth grade, have an IEP, and are college bound won’t want to miss an opportunity to participate in our brand new CCRN COLLEGE-CONNECT program. This ESY program is designed to prepare students like no other program does while reducing the anxiety around this very important step in their education and lives. Students on the Autism Spectrum are invited to participate in this unique opportunity. This in-house collaborative effort to develop and present the most comprehensive summer educational experience of this kind is being coordinated by Donna M.Williams. This is a pilot offering and the following school districts have expressed interest and are included in our centralized transportation pick-up locations: Avon Grove, Coatesville, and Octorara. Other school districts will likely sign on as the school year opens and progresses so don’t hesitate to call us and ask if your district is participating. 1:1 SCHOOL SUPPORTS (PCA):
If your child is in need of additional support at school to mazimize his/her education, we are happy to help by providing the 1:1 Personal Care Assistant support and behavioral consulting assistance your child needs. RESPITE:
For families planning weekend, holiday, or summer trips and activities in need of respite, we have resources for you. Maybe you just need a night to yourself and aren’t going anywhere, but understand the value of rejuvenating as a caregiver as well as the importance of affording your child or loved one the opportunity to interact and connect with community members and activities, then respite is for you.
